One of my latest interior design project is a townhouse nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of South Williamsburg. The owner has a passion for entertaining and love for bringing people together. His home had to be a reflection of that, a space where guests could feel welcomed.
The focal point of the design is a home theatre - a dream project. We went all out with heavy red velvet curtains, evoking the glamour of old Hollywood. It is the perfect blend of opulence and comfort.
Schematic Design
But it wasn't just about entertainment – it was about capturing the owner's personality in every detail. He adores art, so we made sure to incorporate unique pieces that spoke to his taste and style.
Concept Design
And let's not forget his love for koi fish – he even has a pond with them in his backyard! We incorporated subtle nods to this passion throughout the design. From start to finish, our goal was to bring out his personality and cater to his needs. It was about striking that perfect balance between beauty and functionality.
Boldness defines his home – it's a space that exudes personality and charm at every turn. And for me, that's what makes this project truly special.
